I'm surprised that I've now seen this image. Dude.. this is pretty damned kick ass. Way to salvage a situation I have to admit that I've always wondered what your "outtakes" must look like.... haha... I hardly thought they would look like this, but I suppose I should have guessed.
I love how.. smooth this is. The only bit of "discordia" is the left-hand tip of the stream of water... my keeps being drawn to it because it's the only evidence in this whole image that the situation is not perfectly controlled.
You must have a separate fund specifically for buying all these glasses that you promptly shatter. I need to know, how many times in a shoot do you end up cutting yourself?
Anyhow, i am really really fond of your work, i'm sure you don't need to hear it any more but I have to say that I love the way you use color and the contrast of light and dark in all of your pieces. It's really amazing and stunning.
I think, ... no. I know, that I like this outcome even more than if the two glasses had hit. There's just such an elegance about this. The glass and liquid seem to defy gravity; they just look so perfectly placed. Again, elegance is all I can describe it as. A very lucky accident indeed.
